Ddole Road Veterinary Clinic

What a fantastic veterinary practice. Our very sick cat was seen by Alice and Gareth, and the compassion, empathy and genuine heartfelt humanity that was shown towards us, as well as our cat, was exemplary. Their ability to break down the scientific information for a 'lay' audience to access and understand, is testament to their many skills and abilities. At our cat's moment of need, they never once faltered in their professionalism. These vets are very fine ambassadors for the surgery. We will be forever grateful for their dedication and kindness. Fantastic people skills. We have no hesitation in recommending this veterinary practice.

We have no complaints whatsoever about the treatment offered to our dogs during the time we have been clients of Ddole Road, nor about the subsequent aftercare or welcome the dogs (and we) receive on our arrival. All pet owners and agricultural clients can have complete confidence that their pets, animal companions and livestock will receive the very best of professional advice and treatment at the hands of all the dedicated staff.

Clean and bright. Soup was excellent. We had to wait a little while for the rest of our order but it shows it was fleshly prepared . My son said his bean burger was a little bit soft and squidgy hence the missing star.

Love coming here, great food and great ethos. Let's hope they stay open a lot longer

Hotel Commodore

Very pleased indeed with this hotel. Stayed here two nights. Family-owned, and one of the main hotels in town dating to the spa era. Staff are extremely helpful. Lift is a tad small if you are bringing a wheelchair, but can work around. Meals are very good. Breakfast well worth the additional cost. I would most definitely stay here again. Recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable experience at this character hotel with many original features. We loved the real fire in the restaurant. Food was excellent. Staff we very friendly and it was nice to be hosted by the owner who had time to talk to her guests. Looking forward to returning in the future.
